Hi there! Welcome to Intermittent Mechanism.

This website began as a way of distributing materials related to my teaching. Its function as an archive of my research has always been secondary, although I do keep it up-to-date.

These days, most of the writing that I do is in-house for Ci3, but this site remains a fairly good archive of my academic research. I have transformed conference papers and talks into blog posts. You can find links to my published articles, proceedings versions of conference papers, and dissertation on both my Curriculum Vitae and my publications and papers page. You can also find my research statement here.

I have increasingly used this blog as an opportunity to engage in casual critical writing. These types of posts do not constitute academic research, but they are often informed by—and, in turn, sometimes inform—my academic output.
